Quicken for Mac imports data from Quicken for Windows 2010 or newer, Quicken for Mac. which i'm considering doing since i never use the online banking/investing tools in the higher versions. Our connections are now twice as fast but at the same low cost.
if i do bite the bullet and re-subscribe, quicken has offered me the chance of downgrading to quicken basic at a lower cost. So, my question is, can anybody shed any light on this? Is there a workaround, or different way to import those transactions without subscribing? Or does "being able to use Quicken without re-subscribing" actually mean going back to entering all transactions manually? : Not what I was expecting at all-since i'm not trying to connect thru my bank online at all, i'm just trying to import a file.

So 10 days ago it expired, and now i find that quicken deluxe refuses to import these. They said that would be possible with an expired program, just being online with the bank in quicken is what would be disabled after expiration.
